The Maltese Falcon

Last night I watched The Maltese Falcon for the first time. A few things.

• There really was a time when personal assistants were called sweetheart, darling, precious, honey and angel in a professional context.
   
• I need more hats.
   
• Peter Lorre.
   
• "When you're slapped you'll take it and like it!"
   
• Smoking is foul, but omg these touch tip table lighters they use in practically every scene.
